Sehzade Mosque, Fatih, Historical Peninsula, Istanbu


The Sehzade Mosque (Sehzade Mehmet Mosque) was built between 1544-1548 and for the memory of Mehmet, the son of Sultan Suleyman who died at a very young age. The Sehzade Mosque is located between Fatih & Beyazit, Istanbul.


The mosque has a large and plain look inside and also the tomb of Mehmet in the garden is also beautiful with it tiled decoration. It is one of the most popular mosques in Istanbul.
